Eagle's Eye, Troop 174 Newsletter
Fred Lang Jr.
For several years, our Troop History was recorded by Scoutmaster Walt Gursky in the form of a Newsletter, The Eagle's Eye. This Newsletter ran from sometime around 1998 to 2007. Posted below are the only issues I have saved. I, being at this point, the longest lasting member of the troop have the most history to share. After recently having a conversation with a few past adult members about the great times we had, it would be loss not to share those stories and times. Check back often as I am making every attempt to secure the missing issues and gather as many photos and stories. The Eagle's Eye was a great way of keeping the parents and friends informed of what the Troop was doing. Today, all of our information goes out by e-mails, web-site postings, or social media; Facebook. If at any time you would like to share a story or submit an article, just pass it along to the Committee Chair or send me an e-mail TROOP ARTICLE and we will make sure it gets posted. Jerry Vaivada
